Kyuk Too Ki- Adults Korean Kickboxing
Kyuk Too Ki is a dynamic form of Kickboxing. Students in the class will get a great all round workout from Mark & Jacqui. Our adults classes are unique because the standard method of fitness & conditioning is the Russian Kettlebells system; this is a exercise method that gives amazingly fast results & builds explosive strength & aerobic fitness at the same time. Kettlebells are used by professional sportsmen & women, SWAT teams & Special Forces, & are even being 'raved about' by celeb's. You'll enjoy dynamic pad & bag drills, & partake in exciting sparring.

Mark started training in Muay Thai back in the late 1980's travelling to take seminars under Master Sken & Master Toddy amongst others. He then started training in Chinese Kickboxing under Master Qineng Tan, & trained under Han Gil Yon in Kyuk Too Ki.

True Korean Kickboxing isn't simply just light contact continuous kickboxing or point sparring. There are some classes around which call themselves 'Korean Kickboxing' but are actually just teaching modified TaeKwon-Do. We teach authentic Kyuk Too Ki. True Korean Kickboxing marries the punches of Boxing, the kicks of TaeKwon-Do, along with Hand Strikes, Elbow Strikes, Knee Strikes, & Throwing techniques. Normally Kyuk Too Ki sparring is Full Contact, with punches, kicks, knees, elbows & throws all being allowed. In our classes though, students stick to light-contact continuous sparring from beginner to blue belt; & then are given the option of moving into Full Contact sparring after blue belt (the majority of people are happy sticking with light contact continuous sparring).
Korean Kickboxing is great fun, but is a workout that will challenge you & make you feel proud of yourself after every class. We'll get you fitter & stronger, help you build your confidence & self esteem, & guide you every step of the way to Blackbelt & beyond.
